Voltage Ranges
Appearance
Measurements for what the radio voltages.
We notice that the speaker voltages are heavily biased vs ground, which is annoying. We think there's enough amplitude we can just half the output, instead of trying to high-pass filter it.
Speaker (radio out)[edit]
Raw (Standard Garrett yell):
Min: 2.7V Center: 3.6V Max: 4.5V
With 1/2 divider (Standard Garrett yell):
Min: 1.48V Max: 2.02V
Microphone (radio in)[edit]
Winging it with a signal generator:
2mVpp, no offset worked fine, technically we never tested on a square wave, because we flipped the signal gen leads and thought we fried it
Adrian recommended a high impedance buffering amplifier so the analog cant mess with us
